June.

What will I be up to, you ask? Great question, friends!

As you know, I conclude my time of serving on staff with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries on June 30, 2026. Although our academic year and student-facing programming has concluded, there is still work to be done!

So what does this final month as a campus minister look like?

It’s a lot of different things but here are a few:

• connecting with donors; expressing gratitude and sharing opportunities for them to consider investing into (other missionaries)

• sending digital summer resource kits to current students and recent alumni

• closing out the academic year financially with the university (room rental fees) and with our accountants

• coordinating with the DC Chi Alpha board for our 501(C)3 to receive updates regarding tax filings, quarterly reporting, and other administrative tasks

• launching a final resource (a limited-run audio podcast) for campus ministers as I reflect on what I’ve learned (and what I regret!) from fifteen years of campus ministry

• a little bit of personal travel (a couple of days); to spend extended time with my little family amidst lots of transitions

• wrap-up coding expenses and receipting within our organizational apps along with digitizing any work-expenses I need to track for personal tax purposes

• liquidating and donating items from our two storage units for the ministry in Maryland; while moving personal items and paperwork that needs to remain archived

• writing a ton of thank-you notes (which, thankfully, I find immense joy in doing!)

• connecting over coffee or meals with campus ministry colleagues as well as alumni in the area

Thank you for being on my journey and taking an active role in my story
