A List of People I Wished Had A Blog

Note: For all intensive purposes, I am not counting Twitter as a blog. Yes, I know that it is a “micro-blog” but come on, it is a whole different world.

Chris Hodges

Lead Pastor of Church of the Highlands in Birmingham, AL.

I had the opportunity to attend services at the Grants Mill and Tuscaloosa campuses while at UA.

I love his heart for people to dream with him and the “service before the service” is absolutely incredible.

Weird & Random Things That Happened To Me Online This Week

Okay, here are two things that were weird and random that happened to me online this week.

Me and Carlos Whittaker

The other day, I started to follow about 100 new people on Twitter. One of them was Carlos Whittaker.

I have never met him, although I do dig his blog and nearly bumped into him at Echo Conference (he led a breakout and was on the church panel).

The first tweet I saw from him was this:

Then I tweeted this:

I didn’t really think anything of it. I am from New Mexico and not even I like Gallup.

I was seriously wondering what he was doing there (a concert, pssh! No way, not there!).

Plus it was really late, so looking back I think I missed the whole “broken down” element of the tweet.

To my surprise, he tweeted back at me:

Ouch! I was like, did I just get virtually slammed by Carlos Whittaker? I am glad he laughed!  Needless to say, I felt dumb for asking the question (and I felt that I lost my opportunity to send him my demo, if I had one).

So I tweeted this:

And that ended our friendship (okay, at least our conversation).

Google Agrees That I Am A “Bald Alpha Male”

So, I saw on my stats plugin that someone clicked on my blog after searching for “Bald Alpha Male”.

I am not sure if they forgot my name or what.

I decided to google the same term just to see what the results were.

I am number 6 out of 92,000 plus! That is awesome and random!
