In moments of chaos, terror and unanswered questions - I am reminded that life is about people, not things. It's about who you love, not what you own. It's who you call, text or hope to hear from. The gadget that I thought I needed seems, how do I say it, like just a thing. I drove for most of the day today to spend the weekend with my sister who goes to college in Boston. Thankfully, she is fine and was not at the site of any of the recent tragedies.
What I thought was über important last week, was really just urgent. Well, I do have important things to do but what really matters is who I have in my life. Unfortunately, it's only in situations like this that spending time together becomes an urgent desire. But I guess, that's also the fortunate thing.
