Headed to Retreat, Pray for our Students

I just took out the mini-bus (15 passenger capacity) that I am driving for a test-run. And yeah, it was hoss. And no, I never use that word.

We are meeting up with the other DC area Chi Alpha groups and going to Sandbridge, VA for a few days to spend time connecting with each other and God through small groups, worship and teaching.

Will you pray for our students? 

My heart is that they grow in relationship with those in their small groups, meet other students that they can build friendships with from other Chi Alpha groups and most importantly, encounter God in a fresh way. Although I don’t know all the students that are going personally, I know that the stress of mid-terms is weighing heavy on their shoulders. Not to mention students that have loved ones in the hospital, perhaps are personally struggling and those that are feeling disconnected from God and community.

This is more than just time at the beach throwing frisbees. 

It is about encountering God and growing personally and with our community.
