ABAWFAY // Book #4: Hunger Games

ABAWFAY is short for “A Book A Week For A Year”. Read this post to find out more and to suggest the next book I read.

I know what you are thinking.

“That isn’t a book about Jesus.”

“That isn’t a book about church.”

“What does that have to do with leadership?”

“Not even someone emergent would consider that Biblical.”

Well, what had happened was…

My wife suggested this book to me. Several times.

So I took into account this formula:

Me + Happy Wife  = Happy Me.

And you should know, I hate reading fiction.

Or should I say, I hated reading fiction.

This book was incredible.

I don’t even know how to review fiction books, so here is my wife’s review.

Here are a few reasons I couldn’t put it down:

- It was fun.

- It was like a blockbuster movie in my head.

- It kept me guessing.

And here are a few reasons why I am supplementing my reading diet with fiction from here on out:

- Did I mention my wife likes it?

- It helps me relax.

- Information Overload. A common disease in this iKindle-Pro-App-Instant world. I was reading too many things that related to “work”.

- It got me thinking in a different way.

Seriously, you should read it too.

Here is my amazon associate link for Hunger Games.
