Questions I Think People Want To Ask Me

What do you actually do?

Are you a real pastor?

What service do you preach at?

I will admit, no one has actually asked me these questions (but I think a lot of people want to).

Even when I told my wife Hannah that I was asked to take on the role of “Communications Pastor”, she look confused (that doesn’t happen often).

She graduated from an honors college. In three years. Magma Cum Laude. Double Major.

So, she said she Googled it but didn’t really find an answer.

Well, I can’t say what it looks like for everyone but for me and our church it means that I get to be heavily involved in:

Marketing, Branding, Web Presence (from our websites to social media connectors to our internet campus), Graphic Design, Video Production, Service Timing, Organization Structure, Sermon Review & Planning.

I have the chance to work a lot with our staff and some pretty awesome volunteers.

Oh, and in case you are wondering.

A lot.

Yes.

All of them sometimes.
