I Just Went Bald. And 17 Reasons You Should Too!
I just went bald (on purpose, as in, I didn’t have to but wanted to).
Here are 17 reasons you should go bald too (these probably only apply to dudes, but ladies, feel free to venture out there):
17. People won’t tease you anymore for straightening your hair.
16. If you wear a black hat and a suit, you could pass for an Observer from Fringe.
15. It will open up doors to practice tact, because people will call you baldie, lex, and cue ball.
14. To save money on hair gels, pomades, and waxes.
13. People, even strangers, will insist on giving you free head massages.
12. You can be known as “that guy”, as in the guy who is not afraid to make bold, even daring fashion statements.
11. Take the fight to mother nature, or I guess more correctly, genes. Telling male pattern baldness, you didn’t do this, I did!
10. Just another singnifyer to your friends that you are indeed the Alpha Male.
9. You can act like John Locke and seem believable without any formal acting training.
8. If you are buff, you can pass for Bruce Willis.
7. If you have black rimmed glasses, people will automatically know that you are a Rob Bell fan.
6. You can stop paying $25 every two weeks to your personal stylist.
5. Bald is the new faux hawk, hipsters, get ready!
4. All of your old hats probably won’t fit, so it is a legitmate excuse to perittion the wife, for that new Red Sox hat.
3. Every time someone walks by, it feels like an air conditioner aimed perfectly at your scalp just turned on.
2. If you stick out your tongue and have a 20+ inch vertical leap, you might be able to pass for Michael Jordan.
1. You will be accepted, regardless of your intelligence or athletics, by the underground club of bald men worldwide.

Blane!!!!! Bob went bald when Allison was in second grade – because he bet her that if she got straight A’s he would shave his head bald and he’s been doing it ever since….I don’t think I could ever let him grow his hair back!!!

Speaking as a wife of a self balder (Roger shaves daily) I love it! It is taking a risk to show your head and all its bumps and ridges..and I personally love bald me! Great do on you dude.. plus your reasons cracked me up…
