Apps I Cannot Live Without

Evernote IconThe following is a list of apps that I use on a daily basis.

Seriously, I would be as productive as a caveman trying to built a spaceship without these!

I call this list my “Aunt Susy” list, because most of these apps are like her: cheap and easy.

I am totally joking by the way, I don’t have an aunt named Susy. Her name is Cassie.

Just kidding, anyways.

Here is the list of Apps I Cannot Live Without:

Evernote (for iPod Touch & Mac)

iCal (for appointments and tasks)

Google Docs (reviewing documents without downloading)

Dropbox (syncing files across computers and sharing files)

Stickies (dashboard widget that is simple yet helpful)

NeoOffice (OpenOffice port to Mac, Open Source Alternative to Microsoft Office)

TextEdit (for those quick little notes and coding)

Do you use any of these? Do you have any suggestions for my arsenal of apps? What apps could you not live without?

If I had an iPhone, I would probably sell my Tom Tom and use Maps, I have heard tons of great stuff!

I will have to check out textminder…

Do you use these on your iPhone or are these also available as desktop/web apps?

I think I need a device to put apps on!
Then I would get the following apps:

    Parenting teens
It would be similar to the baby monitor app: ~place your iPhone next to your sleeping baby, and when it detects noise, the phone will automatically call you at the phone number of your choice. GENIUS ~ However maybe it would ring when your teen is doing something questionable.

    Sales
This would alert me if any of my favorite things go on sale (you could put in the price you are waiting for and then the alert would come when the price is right!)

    GPS
Just in case I am wondering where certain family members are at the moment-this would advise me.

    MegaChurch locator
When I travel I could be notified of the most awesome church in the area (maybe I could put in the things I like best and the app could find the specifics for me)

On a more serious note, what do you think is the best phone to get for such apps? I am in the market :)

The Facebook app is great, I think it is more fun to use the app that the website.

I will have to check out the Weather app.

That’s true, Paper Toss always puts me in a chill mode (okay, sometimes a frustrated mode because I cannot beat my mom’s top score!).
